Senior SPV Accountant (Alternative Investment Funds)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SPV Accountant to join a growing Alternative Investment Firm in Luxembourg. The role focuses on hands‑on bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audit coordination for multiple investment‑fund related entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bookkeeping, fund reporting, and financial statements, and manage external audits.
• Oversee accounting, cash management, and regulatory compliance for several portfolio companies.
• Validate service‑provider data against Luxembourg GAAP and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and tax regulations, including filing tax returns.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Calculate liquidity positions and analyse shortfalls or excess cash.
• Support board members with data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with senior managers, deal teams, legal advisors, and compliance on current investments and streamline deal closings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Controlling, Business Administration or Corporate Finance.
• 3‑4 years of experience at a large audit firm or financial services company in an international environment.
• Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and results‑driven mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP (other GAAPs a plus).
• Audit coordination and management.
• Cash management and liquidity analysis.
• Financial reporting and statement preparation.
