Funds Finance Manager – Real Estate Investments

About the role

Our client, a leading global investment manager, is expanding its Luxembourg platform and seeks a Finance Manager to support real‑estate and asset‑management activities. The role offers exposure to complex, cross‑border structures and the opportunity to develop expertise in both Luxembourg and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Review property‑level and Luxembourg entity financial statements and support consolidated reporting.
• Manage Luxembourg GAAP to US GAAP conversions.
• Liaise with legal, corporate, audit, and asset‑management teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee cash‑management activities, including payments, cash‑flow monitoring and coordination with accounts payable.
• Support asset acquisitions, disposals and ongoing portfolio activities.
• Review leases, capital commitments and related cash‑flow positions.
• Assist with tax filings, debt compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Recommend accounting treatments for complex transactions and contribute to process and system improvements.
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, resolve variances and support audit (including SOX) requirements while guiding junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of finance experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, Big 4 or a service provider.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and local tax requirements.
• Experience with US GAAP conversion is an advantage.
• Experience with acquisitions, disposals, lease or capital‑commitment reviews.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Comfortable working in an international, multilingual environment.
