AV Designer – Audiovisual Systems Engineer

About the role

Join Dreso’s interdisciplinary team to design and develop innovative audiovisual solutions for real‑estate, industry, energy and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients, architects and engineers to create both standard and complex AV systems that meet sustainability and performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer audiovisual, video, audio and control systems for a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to ensure seamless integration.
• Select appropriate AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, video‑conferencing and control platforms.
• Provide detailed AV infrastructure requirements (power, data, reinforced walls) to IT and main contractors.
• Review third‑party deliverables, conduct site surveys, and produce technical reports.
• Participate in regular work‑stream meetings and project reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AV design, integration or installation, with project‑management exposure.
• Strong communication skills in English; French and German are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AV design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Visio.
• Knowledge of control systems and audio/video transport protocols.
• Understanding of AV‑over‑IP networking principles.
• Familiarity with virtual and augmented reality integration in AV design.
• CTS or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous).
