Satellite Imagery Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Satellite Imagery Production Manager to lead the Earth Observation segment of our Data Processing Centre. You will ensure high‑quality satellite imagery services for internal and external stakeholders while coordinating closely with the Mission Operations Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 24/7 service resilience and quality for direct clients and end users.
• Oversee nominal and high‑level image production, verifying correct execution of processing workflows.
• Define and execute contingency procedures to restore normal operations.
• Perform quality control of products before distribution.
• Manage cataloguing, archiving, and documentation of ground operations procedures.
• Contribute to hardware, software, and network maintenance of the production subsystem.
• Collaborate with managers of other Mission Operations Centre segments for continuous improvement.
• Co‑manage a team of six satellite imagery operators and provide on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• Senior Engineer with a degree in Informatics or equivalent.
• Operational knowledge of satellite systems and user service request management.
• Experience with Earth Observation systems and image processing procedures (2‑3 years).
• Proven team and people‑management experience in an operational environment.
• Strong collaborative spirit and willingness to learn new competencies.
