Graduate – KYC/Compliance (Luxembourg)

About the role

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Graduate for its KYC/Compliance division within the Joint Middle Office (JMO) in Luxembourg. You will work on‑site, receive mentorship from experienced compliance professionals, and gain hands‑on experience with a wide range of counterparties across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment and follow‑up of compliance risks for new and existing counterparties.
• Assist in the implementation of KYC processes and Customer Due Diligence, including ownership mapping and screening.
• Organise and establish work procedures and contribute to improvement projects such as the Client Lifecycle Management System and Group Client Portal.
• Collaborate regularly with the Bank’s 1st Line of Defence (Origination) and Portfolio Management & Monitoring teams.
• Potentially rotate to other JMO activities based on business needs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in finance, compliance or related fields.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Luxembourg for the duration of the contract.
