French Speaking Trainee Auditor – Start Oct 2026

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a French‑speaking trainee auditor to join its audit team in October 2026. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with a diverse portfolio of international clients while developing expertise in IFRS and local accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit engagements for various companies.
• Review financial statements and assess compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Analyse financial data, identify anomalies, and support the preparation of audit documentation.
• Interact with clients both virtually and face‑to‑face to gather information and clarify audit findings.
• Contribute to the development of audit procedures that leverage technology and data analytics.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a master’s program in accounting, finance, engineering or IT.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• High ethical standards and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective time‑management skills to handle multiple engagements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with local GAAP.
