Assistant Valuation – Private Equity & Private Debt

About the role

EY is expanding its Financial Services practice and seeks an Assistant to join the FAAS // Valuation team. You will support the pricing team by analysing valuations across a range of asset classes, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial models used in reporting and assurance engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform valuation analyses for private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate, complex derivatives and venture capital assets.
• Assess the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance engagements.
• Provide auditors with the necessary information to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in economics, business or management with a finance focus.
• Excellent academic record and 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of business valuation principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg and valuation tools.
• Advanced MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Word and PowerPoint.
