Trainee Data Analyst – 5‑Month Programme

About the role

The European Investment Fund is offering a five‑month trainee programme for a Data Analyst within its EC EIB & North Mandate Management Services Unit. The role provides hands‑on experience in mandate termination, governance, and data‑driven reporting, while developing automation and visualisation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, testing and deployment of automated data visualisation tools.
• Organise and maintain documentation related to governance, termination and other post‑signature mandate activities.
• Draft technical documentation and guidelines for internal tools.
• Conduct portfolio and contract analysis to support mandate termination processes.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum bachelor) in Business Administration, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; additional EU language is a plus.
• Basic experience in automating administrative or financial tasks is advantageous.
