Senior Investment Associate – Private Equity

About the role

We are looking for an Investment Associate (or Senior Investment Associate) to join our private‑equity team in Luxembourg. The role involves sourcing, evaluating and managing investments in environmentally‑focused small and mid‑sized enterprises across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new investment opportunities and target companies.
• Conduct market, competitive and ESG analysis to assess key success factors.
• Build and maintain financial models, perform valuations and scenario analyses.
• Support due‑diligence processes, coordinating external advisors and preparing industry research.
• Assist in negotiating and drafting tax, legal and financial structures.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and recommendations for the Investment Committee.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, attend board meetings and produce periodic reports.
• Analyse operational, financial and ESG KPIs to uncover risks and value‑creation opportunities.
• Contribute to exit strategy planning and performance forecasting.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A or Private Equity.
• Fluent English; additional fluency in French, Dutch, German or Italian.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• High attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, team‑player attitude and solution‑oriented approach.
