Risk Officer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Risk Officer to join our Luxembourg team at LianLian Europe S.A. In this role you will help strengthen our risk management, internal control and outsourcing governance framework within a regulated Electronic Money Institution. You will gain broad exposure across governance, operational risk and strategic regulatory initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Risk Management Framework.
• Maintain and enhance the Internal Control Framework and Control Library.
• Assist with Enterprise Wide Risk Assessments (EWRA) and Risk & Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA).
• Monitor key risks, incidents and remediation actions.
• Prepare risk reporting and management information for senior governance bodies.
• Support outsourcing governance activities, including due diligence, monitoring and periodic reviews.
• Contribute to governance documentation and regulatory projects.
• Support internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in risk, internal control, internal audit or governance.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, EMI/PI or banking is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Structured, pragmatic and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and provide constructive challenge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
