Data Analyst Trainee (5‑month program)

About the role

The European Investment Fund is offering a 5‑month trainee programme starting in September 2026. You will work in the EC EIB & North Mandate Management Services Unit, gaining hands‑on experience in mandate management, data mining and automation within a financial‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, testing and rollout of automated data‑visualisation tools.
• Organise documentation related to governance, termination and other post‑signature mandate activities.
• Draft technical documentation and guidelines for internal tools.
• Conduct contract analysis and assist with bespoke analytical tasks.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum bachelor) in Business Administration, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant short‑term professional experience in task automation is a plus.
• Good knowledge of project‑management principles.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional EU language is beneficial.
