Anti-Money Laundering Analyst – Compliance Team

About the role

We are seeking an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join the compliance team of a well‑known European law firm in Luxembourg. You will act as the primary contact for complex KYC/AML cases, ensuring that new client onboarding complies with Luxembourg Bar rules and EU AML regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AML/CTF reviews for all new clients during onboarding.
• Run, review and update AML reports regularly.
• Maintain and enhance AML/KYC procedures and contribute to guideline development.
• Identify and verify clients and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
• Research and analyse the source of funds for each client.
• Prepare KYC files and reports for sign‑off by the Compliance Officer.
• Organise Business Acceptance Committee meetings and draft minutes.
• Report findings and issues to the Compliance Officer.
• Ensure all documentation complies with Luxembourg Bar requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of AML/KYC experience within a law firm in Luxembourg.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg Bar requirements, AML law and EU AML frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑player with a positive, proactive attitude.
