VP&C Technical Architect

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a VP&C Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of its Digital Procurement architecture. You will ensure scalable, secure solutions that align with enterprise standards while supporting innovation across platforms, AI and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and safeguard the end‑to‑end architecture of Digital Procurement capabilities, reducing structural risk and ensuring scalability.
• Own and evolve the Digital Procurement architecture blueprint across platforms, AI and data.
• Provide independent design authority for major technical decisions, aligning with enterprise strategy and security standards.
• Champion simplicity and reuse through scalable design patterns and integration principles.
• Mitigate vendor dependency risk via documentation, knowledge governance and technical oversight.
• Represent Digital Procurement in architecture governance forums, influencing cross‑functional and market decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing scalable, secure technical architectures.
• Strong integration expertise across cloud, APIs and data ecosystems.
• Experience influencing senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to balance innovation with operational stability.
• Track record of reducing structural complexity.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in technical architecture roles.
• Architecture certification desirable (e.g., TOGAF).
