Video Editor – Remote

About the role

CoinPoker is looking for a talented Video Editor to shape long‑form poker footage into engaging stories for its YouTube channel and partner collaborations. The role is fully remote and focuses on turning raw recordings into polished videos that keep viewers watching until the end.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long‑form videos from raw footage to final cut, handling structure, pacing, sound design, graphics, and colour.
• Craft compelling openings and maintain momentum throughout each video to maximise audience retention.
• Adapt tone, pacing and visual style to match the brand of each ambassador or partner.
• Apply feedback from weekly retention reviews and flag what works or doesn’t in the footage.
• Manage multiple edit pipelines, meeting content‑calendar deadlines for owned and partner content.
• Coordinate with ambassador and partnerships teams on briefs, footage, and turnaround expectations.
• Leverage AI and modern editing tools to accelerate repetitive tasks and focus on creative craft.

Required profile

• Strong storytelling instincts – ability to identify narrative beats, tension and payoff in poker sessions.
• Deep understanding of poker as content and what drives viewer interest.
• Proven portfolio of long‑form video edits that have retained audiences.
• Self‑managed workflow capable of handling several projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to incorporate feedback and continuously improve video performance.

Required skills

• Advanced video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Sound design and music integration.
• Motion graphics and on‑screen caption creation.
• Colour grading and visual finishing.
• Use of AI‑assisted editing tools to speed up routine tasks.
