Operations Manager – Operational & Regulatory Support

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to strengthen the operational backbone of Howden Specialty Luxembourg as we expand across Europe. The role will provide structured operational, regulatory and governance support, ensuring consistency, resilience and scalability across the business and its branches.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and ongoing management of regulatory initiatives such as DORA, ERICCA 2 and other EU or local workstreams.
• Coordinate project set‑up, tracking and delivery of operational initiatives, managing timelines, ownership and reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory submissions and responses in collaboration with Finance, Compliance, Risk, IT and Group teams.
• Maintain registers, trackers and documentation to evidence regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
• Assist the HSLS Operations Committee by coordinating agendas, preparing management information and contributing to committee packs.
• Track actions and decisions from governance forums and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Produce and maintain operational KPIs and dashboards to support management oversight and decision‑making.
• Coordinate cross‑jurisdictional and cross‑business‑line activities as a central point of contact between HSLS, its branches and Group functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational and regulatory support within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate compliance documentation.
• Effective communication skills to work with Finance, Compliance, Risk, IT and Group teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks such as DORA and ERICCA 2.
• Experience with KPI reporting and dashboard creation.
