Manager Consultant Real Estate Transactions

About the role

EY is looking for a Manager Consultant in its Strategy and Transaction practice, focused on real estate transactions and fundraising. The role sits in Luxembourg and relies on an extensive network across the local real estate market to bring in new opportunities and strengthen relationships with key market participants.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new opportunities, strengthen relationships with key market participants and expand the firm's local client base.
• Lead the day-to-day delivery of real estate transaction and fundraising engagements, defining workplans, coordinating workstreams and ensuring milestones are met.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, investors, lenders and other advisers, explaining complex analyses and recommendations clearly.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior team members, reviewing their analyses and deliverables and giving timely, constructive feedback.
• Take ownership of the quality and consistency of financial models, valuations, information memoranda, investor presentations and other client deliverables.
• Manage engagement economics, resources, risks and internal governance requirements, raising issues and proposing practical solutions.

Required profile

• Master's degree with a particular focus on Real Estate and/or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Fluent English and French; German is an advantage.
• Financial modelling skills developed during studies, enabling feasibility studies and business plan projections.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to respect tight deadlines.
• Certifications such as MRICS, CFA or CAIA are an advantage.
