Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support its financial services business in Luxembourg. Working in a hybrid model, you will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with the firm’s global vision and drive organisational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement workforce planning, team structure, and succession strategies.
• Ensure local HR initiatives align with global HR policies and the Maples Group’s mission, values, and culture.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to roll out regional and global HR projects, managing local project plans and coordination.
• Analyse attrition trends, work with Talent Acquisition to forecast recruitment needs, and provide strategic insights.
• Create and maintain a people plan that integrates broader HR agendas and addresses business challenges.
• Monitor resource allocation through HR reporting and support budget adherence.
• Adapt and implement internal HR policies in compliance with Luxembourg legislation.
• Analyse HR metrics to improve solutions, processes, and programmes.
• Drive learning and development initiatives and act as liaison between L&D and the business.
• Provide day‑to‑day performance‑management guidance to managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg labour law and HR best practices.
• Ability to align local HR strategy with global objectives and drive change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience using HR data to influence decisions.
