Global Head of Procurement

About the role

Rotarex is creating a new Global Head of Procurement to steer its worldwide purchasing strategy. The role will be based in Lintgen, Luxembourg, with a planned relocation to the new Industry 4.0 site in Bissen. You will influence cost competitiveness, operational performance and supply‑chain resilience across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global procurement strategies that ensure on‑time material availability and align with production, sales, planning and logistics.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, volume consolidation and supplier panel optimisation.
• Guarantee quality and compliance by working closely with the Quality department and conducting regular supplier audits.
• Define, monitor and report procurement KPIs, using data insights to continuously improve processes.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing procurement team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Conduct complex international negotiations to secure optimal economic, technical and logistical terms.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in global procurement or supply‑chain management.
• Strong track record of strategic sourcing, cost optimisation and supplier relationship management.
• Experience driving digital transformation and implementing data‑driven performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across multicultural environments.
• Ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and manage change in an industrial setting.
