Fraud Data Analyst

About the role

As a Fraud Data Analyst at Satispay, you will protect the future of digital payments by designing and operating real‑time defense mechanisms. You will work closely with product, engineering, and data‑science teams to translate emerging fraud patterns into actionable, low‑friction solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain the real‑time decisioning engine, combining ML scores with velocity features for millisecond decisions.
• Develop high‑performance fraud rules, balancing false‑positive rates against gross fraud loss.
• Investigate new fraud schemes (e.g., account takeover, social engineering) and create end‑to‑end mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define analytical requirements for new features and third‑party data signals.
• Work with data‑science to operationalise machine‑learning models and integrate them with heuristic rules.
• Analyse security measures to minimise unnecessary friction and improve user experience.
• Monitor rule efficacy, produce performance reports, and advise senior leadership on risk appetite.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in risk, payments, or credit environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑moving, collaborative setting.
