Document Control Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Document Control Lead to manage the document management processes for a large‑scale data centre project located north of Luxembourg city centre. The role will be embedded within the PMC mission and will ensure that all design, construction and hand‑over documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date and readily accessible.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the project EDMS, enforce approval workflows and integrate BIM for design releases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary document flows between design, construction, QA/QC, commissioning, commercial and operations teams.
• Control transmittals, shop drawings, method statements and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring hold‑point sign‑offs before releases.
• Track document milestones, produce look‑ahead reports and support schedule and commissioning hand‑overs.
• Provide client portals, support audits, prepare hand‑over packs (O&Ms, warranties, certificates, test records, BIM as‑built) and liaise with local authorities.
• Maintain audit trails, retention schedules and secure storage to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Lead and train the document control team, enforce SLAs and improve workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration between the EDMS and BIM/Project Controls for traceable deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Management, Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of document control experience on large construction or data‑center projects.
• Fluent English; French or German advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, ProjectWise or SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and metadata standards.
• Experience establishing naming conventions, backup and recovery procedures.
