Community Manager / Project Coordinator (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

ARA International is launching a new project called Connecting Voices Across Communities and seeks a Community Manager / Project Coordinator on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis. The role will run until 30 September 2027 and focuses on strengthening collaboration among Radio ARA’s language communities, generations and volunteer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support and connect volunteers across different teams and language groups.
• Organise meetings, workshops and community events to foster interaction.
• Develop mentoring and knowledge‑sharing formats for volunteers.
• Facilitate collaboration between radio shows and language communities.
• Document tools, experiences and best practices generated by the project.

Required profile

• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
• Good command of English, French and Luxembourgish; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work autonomously, bring forward ideas and support participatory media.
