Assistant social (m/f/d) – full‑time / part‑time

About the role

The Centre Hospitalier de l'Esch-Metz (CHEM), Luxembourg’s largest hospital with 642 beds, is looking for a spontaneous Social Assistant (m/f/d) for either full‑time or part‑time work. The position supports patients and families across the three hospital sites (Esch‑sur‑Alzette, Niederkorn and Dudelange) within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and their families with social, administrative and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate with medical and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care pathways.
• Provide information about available social services and community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Submit a curriculum vitae, motivation letter, relevant diplomas or certificates, and, if applicable, a professional licence.
• Be prepared to present a recent criminal record (less than three months old) if invited to an interview.
