Logistics Coordinator – Global Shipments

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator you will manage daily logistics activities, ensuring shipments are executed timely, cost‑effectively and with accurate documentation. You will act as the main liaison between the warehouse, customers and freight carriers to guarantee smooth international transport.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse and internal teams to organise economical and on‑time shipments.
• Prepare invoices, customs documents, manifests, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Arrange direct shipments from suppliers to customers and verify all paperwork.
• Review customer invoices for accuracy before dispatch.
• Maintain direct contact with customers for shipping document approval.
• Audit freight bills, allocate charges correctly and authorize payments.
• Handle documentation for hazardous‑material shipments and stay current on international shipping regulations.
• Suggest and implement new policies to improve logistics efficiency.
• Support and develop EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) connections with freight carriers.
• Create and design new logistics forms and participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Education in technical sales, logistics or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in customer service, customs, traffic department or international transport.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
• Solid technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional interaction with customers.
