Fund Accounting Manager – Private Markets

About the role

SS&C GlobeOp is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager for its Private Markets team in Luxembourg. The role will lead client relationships and oversee offshore accounting and reporting activities for private equity funds.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple private equity client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of all deliverables.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, partner capital statements and supporting work papers.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on Luxembourg accounting standards for funds.
• Participate in new‑business discussions with prospects and existing clients.
• Prepare goals, career development plans and performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Review management fee calculations, waterfall models and drawdown/distribution notices.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting, including SPV filings.
• Liaise with operations teams in India and New York as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) with solid experience in private equity fund administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to multitask, organise and solve complex problems.
• Leadership experience managing offshore teams.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Luxembourg fund accounting standards.
• Experience preparing financial statements and capital statements for private equity funds.
• Familiarity with management fee calculations, waterfall models and regulatory reporting.
